Minecraft java how to download map on marketplace

hello! As the title suggests, i am looking to download a map from the minecraft Marketplace, but can't get it to work. I have Minecraft Java Edition on my windows 10 computer, but the store will only let me download if i bought Windows 10 edition. The Bedrock Edition of Minecraft can be purchased for and played on consoles, mobile devices, and computers running Windows.
